Parent-Child bonding activity: Three little pigs book making

Parenting makes you a good and a bad person at the same time. No matter what mode you are in, at the end of the day, what we really want is to raise our children well. So, what’s the main ingredient to raise them? That will be the relationship between the parent and the child: the parent-child bond.

It is important to have a healthy and connected relationship between a parent and child. With that relationship,  one will have a better upbringing of a child. How do we create that relationship? That will be to spend the quality time and doing something together. You may read a book together, create a craft work together or even head outdoor for some sports activities together.

On this post, we are showing you one of the activities we love and it allows me as a parent to do something that smarty loves. What we would be showing you today was to make a “Three Little Pigs” felt book together. Let’s get started!

Smarty loves books and being able to make a book made it even more fun and interesting for her. She couldn’t wait and gathered me and the materials, and started working on it. She became the mini boss and instructed what I needed to do.

Materials were very well cut out and all we need to do was to follow the instructions and started fixing page by page. Honestly speaking, it brought out the little girl in me too as I was working with her on the book. I was as fully engaged as she was!

While working on the book, she creatively created her own designs on the book as well as drawing some extra features for the houses and the background.

Really love this activity as it helped her in the cognitive development. It allowed her to imagine, to problem solve and, best of all, provided communication between us! There were lots of interaction  while we were working on this little book from the start to the end. After completing the book, we had an amazing time telling our own version of the story to each other and we had good laugh! The moment was precious.

Don’t forget to spend that moment with your child because at that moment they feel loved and loving parents create loving children. Your relationship with your child will dictate how the child is going to be in the future. At the same time, it will also affect the strength of their social, physical, emotional and mental health.

** Psst….we are getting more of these materials for our bonding moments. If you are interested on this little book, do send your interest to us at contactus@lupwaiparentwhisperer.com and we will contact you from there!
